Sāriputta, I say that lodging is of two kinds: that which should be cultivated and that which should not be cultivated. Sāriputta, I say that a village is of two kinds: that which should be cultivated and that which should not be cultivated. Sāriputta, I say that a town is of two kinds: that which should be cultivated and that which should not be cultivated. Sāriputta, I say that a city is of two kinds: that which should be cultivated and that which should not be cultivated. Sāriputta, I say that a country is of two kinds: that which should be cultivated and that which should not be cultivated. Sāriputta, I say that a person is of two kinds: one who should be cultivated and one who should not be cultivated."
