Acchariyaabbhutasutta

Suttapiṭaka · Majjhimanikāya · Vol. 14 · Section 366

[366] "Venerable sir, I have heard this in the presence of the Blessed One, learned it in his presence: 'Ānanda, when the Bodhisatta (bodhisatta) has descended into his mother's womb, the Bodhisatta's mother becomes naturally virtuous: she abstains from the destruction of life, abstains from taking what is not given, abstains from sexual misconduct, abstains from false speech, and abstains from liquor, wine, and intoxicants that are a basis for heedlessness.' This too, venerable sir, … This too, venerable sir, I remember as an incredible and amazing quality (acchariya-abbhūtadhamma) of the Blessed One."
