[368] "Venerable sir, I have heard this in the presence of the Blessed One, received it in his presence: 'When, Ānanda, the Bodhisatta (bodhisatta) has descended into his mother's womb, the Bodhisatta's mother becomes an obtainer of the five cords of sensual pleasure (kāmaguṇā); furnished and endowed with the five cords of sensual pleasure, she amuses herself with them.' Since, venerable sir, … this too, venerable sir, I remember as a wonderful and marvelous quality (acchariya-abbhutadhamma) of the Blessed One."
