[387] Then the Venerable Bakkula attained final Nibbāna (parinibbāyi) while seated in the midst of the Saṅgha of bhikkhus.
That the Venerable Bakkula attained final Nibbāna while seated in the midst of the Saṅgha of bhikkhus — this too we remember as a wonderful and marvellous quality (acchariyaṃ abbhūtadhammaṃ) of the Venerable Bakkula.
The Bakkulattheracchariyabbhūta Sutta, the fourth, is finished.
