[389] When Prince Jayasena had sat down to one side, he said this to the novice (samaṇuddesa) Aciravata: "I have heard this, worthy Aggivessana: here a bhikkhu, dwelling diligent, ardent (ātāpī), and resolute (pahitatta), might touch unification of mind (cittassa ekaggatā)."
"So it is, Prince, so it is. Here a bhikkhu, dwelling diligent, ardent, and resolute, might touch unification of mind."
"It would be good if the worthy Aggivessana would teach me the Dhamma as he has heard it and as he has mastered it."
