[439] Thus have I heard. At one time the Blessed One was dwelling at Kosambī, in Ghosita's Park. Now on that occasion the bhikkhus at Kosambī had taken to quarreling and brawling and were engaged in dispute, wounding one another with the daggers of the tongue (mukhasattīhi).
