[446] When the Venerable Anuruddha had sat down to one side, the Blessed One said this to him: "Anuruddhas, I hope you are bearing up; I hope you are keeping going; I hope you are not troubled in getting almsfood."
"We are bearing up, Blessed One; we are keeping going, Blessed One. Venerable sir, we are not troubled in getting almsfood."
"But, Anuruddhas, I hope you are dwelling in concord, mutually rejoicing, without disputing, blending like milk and water, regarding one another with kindly eyes."
"Assuredly, venerable sir, we dwell in concord, mutually rejoicing, without disputing, blending like milk and water, regarding one another with kindly eyes."
"But in what way, Anuruddhas, do you dwell in concord, mutually rejoicing, without disputing, blending like milk and water, regarding one another with kindly eyes?"
