Ānandabhaddekarattasutta

Suttapiṭaka · Majjhimanikāya · Vol. 14 · Section 535

[535] Thus have I heard. On one occasion the Blessed One was dwelling at Sāvatthī, in Jeta's Grove, Anāthapiṇḍika's monastery. Now on that occasion the venerable Ānanda, in the assembly hall, was instructing, urging, rousing, and gladdening the bhikkhus with a talk on the Dhamma, and was speaking on the summary (uddesa) and the exposition (vibhaṅga) of the one who has a single auspicious night (bhaddekaratta).
