Dhātuvibhaṅgasutta

Suttapiṭaka · Majjhimanikāya · Vol. 14 · Section 673

[673] Thus have I heard. On one occasion the Blessed One, while wandering on tour in the Magadhan country, arrived at Rājagaha. He approached Bhaggava the potter, and having approached, said this to Bhaggava the potter: "Bhaggava, if it is not burdensome to you, we would stay one night in your dwelling (nivesana)." "Venerable sir, it is not burdensome to me; but there is one gone forth who has already taken up residence here first. If he permits it, venerable sir, stay as you please."
