[679] "'Bhikkhu, this person has six elements (dhātu)'—so it was said. And in dependence on what was this said? Bhikkhu, there are these six elements: the earth element, the water element, the fire element, the air element, the space element, and the consciousness element. 'Bhikkhu, this person has six elements'—when this was said, it was in dependence on this that it was said."
