[732] "Therefore, householder, you should train thus: 'I shall not cling to the earth element (paṭhavī-dhātu), and there shall be no consciousness (viññāṇa) of mine dependent on the earth element.' Thus, householder, should you train. Therefore, householder, you should train thus: 'I shall not cling to the water element (āpo-dhātu)…' 'I shall not cling to the fire element (tejo-dhātu)…' 'I shall not cling to the air element (vāyo-dhātu)…' 'I shall not cling to the space element (ākāsa-dhātu)…' 'I shall not cling to the consciousness element (viññāṇa-dhātu), and there shall be no consciousness of mine dependent on the consciousness element.' Thus, householder, should you train."
