[733] "Therefore, householder, you should train yourself thus: 'I shall not cling to form (rūpa), and there shall be no consciousness (viññāṇa) of mine dependent upon form.' Thus indeed, householder, should you train yourself. Therefore, householder, you should train yourself thus: 'I shall not cling to feeling (vedanā) …' … 'I shall not cling to perception (saññā) …' … 'I shall not cling to volitional formations (saṅkhārā) …' … 'I shall not cling to consciousness, and there shall be no consciousness of mine dependent upon consciousness.' Thus indeed, householder, should you train yourself.
