Suttapiṭaka · Majjhimanikāya · Vol. 14 · Section 741

[741] Thus have I heard. At one time the Blessed One was dwelling at Rājagaha, in the Bamboo Grove (Veḷuvana), the squirrels' feeding ground (Kalandakanivāpa). Now at that time the Venerable Sāriputta, the Venerable Mahācunda, and the Venerable Channa were dwelling on the mountain Gijjhakūṭa. Now at that time the Venerable Channa was afflicted, suffering, and gravely ill.
