[79] "In the same way, Sunakkhatta, that a bhikkhu who acts with restraint regarding the six bases of contact (phassāyatana), who—having understood thus: 'attachment (upadhi) is the root of suffering (dukkha)'—is without attachment, liberated in the destruction of attachment, would direct his body toward attachment or give his mind over to it: this is impossible."
Thus spoke the Blessed One. Delighted, Sunakkhatta the Licchavi son rejoiced in the words of the Blessed One.
The Sunakkhattasutta, the fifth, is finished.
