[846] "Furthermore, Sāriputta, a bhikkhu should reflect thus: 'Have I developed the five faculties (indriya)?' If, Sāriputta, a bhikkhu, reviewing, knows thus: 'I have not developed the five faculties,' then, Sāriputta, that bhikkhu should strive for the development of the five faculties. But if, Sāriputta, a bhikkhu, reviewing, knows thus: 'I have developed the five faculties,' then, Sāriputta, that bhikkhu should dwell with that very rapture (pīti) and gladness (pāmujja), training day and night in wholesome states."
