[101] [The Blessed One said:] "All of you have spoken well, each in a certain way (pariyāyena); but listen to mine as well: Giving (dāna) in faith (saddhā) is indeed praised in many ways, but better than giving is the very word of the Dhamma (dhammapada); for in the past, and in times earlier still, the good, possessed of wisdom (sapaññā), attained Nibbāna itself." The fourth: the Nasanti Sutta.
