[110] Then those deities, finding fault all the more, rose up into the air. One deity spoke this verse in the presence of the Blessed One:
"When others are confessing a transgression,
if one does not accept it,
angry within, heavy with hatred,
he fastens enmity upon himself."
"If there were no transgression,
and no going astray here,
and if enmities were not appeased,
by what would one here be skilled?"
"For whom are no transgressions found?
For whom is there no going astray?
Who has not fallen into confusion?
Who here is the wise one, ever mindful?"
