[151] "Those here who, having gained the human state,
are charitable (vadaññū), rid of stinginess (macchariya),
confident in the Buddha and in the Dhamma,
and bearing keen reverence toward the Saṅgha—
these shine forth in heaven (sagga),
wherein they are reborn.
If they come to the human state,
they are reborn in a wealthy family,
where clothing, food, delight, and play
are obtained without difficulty;
amid riches amassed by others
they rejoice like one who wields power over them.
Such is the result (vipāka) in this very life,
and in the life to come (samparāya), a good destination (sugati)."
