[210] "The form (rūpa) of mortals decays; name and clan do not decay.
… — lust (rāga) is called the wrong path.
Greed (lobha) is the impediment to dhammas; youth is what wastes away with the nights and days.
Woman is the stain of the holy life (brahmacariya); it is here that this generation is enmeshed.
Austerity (tapa) and the holy life — that is the bath without water.
There are six openings in the world wherein the mind (citta)³ does not stand firm:
laziness and heedlessness, lack of exertion, lack of restraint,
sleep and sloth — these are the openings; one should shun them entirely."
