[246] Now at that time the young deva (devaputta) Suriya had been seized by Rāhu, lord of the asuras (asurinda). Then the young deva Suriya, recollecting the Blessed One, at that time spoke this verse: "Homage be to you, O Buddha, O hero! You are fully released everywhere. I have fallen into confinement: So be my refuge."
