[343] Sitting to one side, King Pasenadi of Kosala said this to the Blessed One: "Here, venerable sir, while sitting in the court of judgment (atthakaraṇa), I see affluent khattiyas, affluent brahmins, and affluent householders — rich, with great wealth, with great possessions, with abundant gold and silver, with abundant treasures and requisites, with abundant wealth and grain — speaking deliberate falsehood (sampajānamusā) for the sake of sensual pleasures, with sensual pleasures as the cause, on account of sensual pleasures. Then, venerable sir, it occurred to me: 'Enough now for me with the judging of cases! Now Bhadramukha ("Fine-Face") will be known by the judging of cases.'"
