[344] "So it is, great king! So it is, great king! Great king, those affluent khattiyas (khattiyamahāsālā), affluent brahmins, and affluent householders — rich, of great wealth, of great possessions, with abundant gold and silver, with abundant treasures and means of wealth, with abundant wealth and grain — who speak deliberate falsehood because of sensual pleasures, with sensual pleasures as their source, on account of sensual pleasures: that will be to their harm and suffering (dukkha) for a long time."
