[367] Then King Pasenadi of Kosala gradually settled down to at most a nāḷika-measure of boiled rice.
Then, some time later, King Pasenadi of Kosala, his body having become quite slim, stroking his limbs with his hand, on that occasion uttered this inspired utterance (udāna): "Truly, that Blessed One had compassion on me with regard to both kinds of good — the good pertaining to the present life and the good pertaining to the life to come."
