[460] "Forms (rūpā), sounds, odours, tastes, and touches, delightful to the mind— my desire (chando) for these has vanished: you are struck down, End-maker (Antaka)!" Then Māra the Evil One (pāpimā), realizing "The Blessed One knows me! The Fortunate One (Sugata) knows me!"—pained and dejected, vanished right there. The Patta Sutta, the sixth.
