[519] Then Rāgā, Māra's daughter, addressed the Blessed One in verse: [Note 1: The Burmese and European editions read "jhāyiṃ." (See Flags.)] "Having cut off craving (taṇhā), he fares with his group and community;[1] surely many who have faith will fare[2] [likewise]. Alas! this homeless one will snatch away[3] a great multitude and lead them beyond the King of Death."
