[573] Thus have I heard. On one occasion the Blessed One was dwelling at Sāvatthī, in Jeta's Grove, Anāthapiṇḍika's Park. Now on that occasion an evil speculative view (diṭṭhigata) of the following kind had arisen in a certain brahmā: "There is no ascetic or brahmin who could come here."
