[588] Then Subrahmā the independent brahmā (paccekabrahmā), having multiplied himself two thousand times, said this to the brahmā: "Do you see, dear sir, such power and might (iddhānubhāva) of mine as this?" "I do see, dear sir, such power and might of yours." "That very Blessed One, dear sir, is of greater power than both you and me, and of great might. You should come, dear sir, to attend upon that Blessed One, the Arahant, the Perfectly Enlightened One."
