[629] [The Blessed One replied:] "Having slain anger (kodha), one sleeps at ease; having slain anger, one does not sorrow. Of anger — with its poisoned root and honeyed tip, brahmin — the noble ones praise the slaying; for having slain it, one does not sorrow."
