[641] Setting at Sāvatthī. Then the brahmin Ahiṃsakabhāradvāja approached the Blessed One; having approached, he exchanged greetings with the Blessed One, and when they had concluded their courteous and amiable talk, he sat down to one side. Sitting to one side, the brahmin Ahiṃsakabhāradvāja said this to the Blessed One: "I am Ahiṃsaka [the 'harmless one'], Master Gotama! I am Ahiṃsaka, Master Gotama!" ¹ Variant reading (Po.): "ahiṃsako khvāhaṃ."
