Devahitasutta

[685] Then the brahmin Devahita had a man take up a carrying-pole load of hot water and presented it, together with a packet of molasses (phāṇita), to the Venerable Upavāṇa. Then the Venerable Upavāṇa approached the Blessed One; having approached, he bathed the Blessed One with the hot water and, having stirred the molasses into hot water, gave it to the Blessed One. Then that ailment of the Blessed One subsided.
