Paccanīkasutta

[703] "What is well spoken is not easily understood by one who delights in contradiction (paccanīkasāta), by one whose mind (citta) is defiled, who abounds in contentiousness (sārambha); but if one removes contentiousness and the distrust of one's heart, having relinquished resentment (āghāta), one may understand what is well spoken."
