[704] When this was said, the brahmin Paccanīkasāta said this to the Blessed One: "Magnificent, Master Gotama! Magnificent, Master Gotama! … May Master Gotama remember me as a lay follower (upāsaka) who from this day forth has gone for refuge (saraṇaṅgata) for life." The Navakammika Sutta, the seventh.
