[789] On one occasion a certain bhikkhu was dwelling among the Kosalans in a certain forest thicket. Now on that occasion that bhikkhu, gone for his day's abiding (divāvihāra), was thinking bad, unwholesome thoughts, namely: thoughts of sensuality (kāmavitakka), thoughts of ill will (byāpādavitakka), and thoughts of harming (vihiṃsāvitakka).
