[869] There, bhikkhus, Vepacitti, lord of the asuras (Vepacitti asurinda), bound by the fivefold bonds with the neck as the fifth, abused and reviled Sakka, lord of the devas (Sakka devānam inda), with rude, harsh words as he was entering and leaving the Sudhammā assembly hall.
