[159] And what is the noble method (ñāya) that has been clearly seen and thoroughly penetrated by him with wisdom (paññā)? Here, bhikkhus, a noble disciple (ariyasāvaka) attends carefully and wisely to dependent origination (paṭiccasamuppāda) itself … This is the noble method that has been clearly seen and thoroughly penetrated by him with wisdom. ¹ [Editorial footnote in the Siam Raṭṭha text:] In the Sinhalese recension it appears thus: "'bhikkhus' — the whole is to be expanded in full."
