[160] Bhikkhus, when these five perils and enmities of a noble disciple have been stilled, and he is endowed with these four factors of stream-entry (sotāpattiyaṅga), and this noble method (ñāya) has been well seen and well penetrated by him with wisdom, he may, if he so wishes, declare of himself by himself: "I am one for whom hell (niraya) is destroyed, for whom the animal womb is destroyed, for whom the domain of ghosts (pittivisaya) is destroyed, for whom the plane of misery, the bad destination, the lower world is destroyed. I am a stream-enterer (sotāpanna), no longer subject to falling into the lower world, fixed in destiny, with full awakening as my final goal."
