When what exists, does name-and-form (nāmarūpa) come to be? When what exists, do the six sense bases (saḷāyatana) come to be? When what exists, does contact (phassa) come to be? When what exists, does feeling (vedanā) come to be? When what exists, does craving (taṇhā) come to be? When what exists, does clinging (upādāna) come to be? When what exists, does existence (bhava) come to be? When what exists, does birth come to be? When what exists, does aging-and-death come to be?'"
