[187] Bhikkhus, when a noble disciple thus understands as it really is (yathābhūta) both the origin and the passing away of the world, this noble disciple, bhikkhus, is called one accomplished in view; one accomplished in vision; one who has arrived at this true Dhamma (saddhamma); one who sees this true Dhamma; one endowed with the knowledge (ñāṇa) of a trainee (sekha); one endowed with the true knowledge (vijjā) of a trainee; one who has entered the stream of the Dhamma; a noble one of penetrative wisdom; one who stands having reached the door to the Deathless (amata).

The Householder Chapter (Gahapativagga), the fifth, [is finished].
Its summary verse (uddāna):
Two on the Five Perils and Enmities were spoken;
Suffering, the World, and Ñātika;
A Certain [Brahmin], and Jāṇussoṇi;
with the Lokāyatika as the eighth;
two on the Noble Disciple were spoken —
