[321] Dwelling at Sāvatthī. … There the Blessed One … "Bhikkhus, suppose the great earth were to come to destruction and exhaustion, except for seven little clay balls the size of jujube kernels. What do you think, bhikkhus, which is more: that portion of the great earth that has been destroyed and exhausted, or the seven little clay balls the size of jujube kernels that remain?"
"Venerable sir, that portion of the great earth that has been destroyed and exhausted is indeed more; the seven little clay balls the size of jujube kernels that remain are trifling. Compared with the great earth that has been destroyed and exhausted, the seven little clay balls the size of jujube kernels that remain do not amount to a hundredth part, nor to a thousandth part, nor to a hundred-thousandth part."
