[1752] "Bhikkhus, suppose the great earth were to reach exhaustion and be used up, except for seven little clay balls the size of jujube stones. What do you think, bhikkhus: which is more — that of the great earth which has been exhausted and used up, or the seven little clay balls the size of jujube stones that remain?"
"That of the great earth which has been exhausted and used up, venerable sir, is more; the seven little clay balls the size of jujube stones that remain are trifling. Compared with the great earth that has been exhausted and used up, the seven little clay balls the size of jujube stones that remain do not amount to a calculation, do not amount to a comparison, do not amount to even a fraction."
