[353] "Bhikkhu, that which is the element of light (ābhādhātu) — this element is discerned in dependence on darkness. Bhikkhu, that which is the element of beauty (subhādhātu) — this element is discerned in dependence on the unbeautiful. Bhikkhu, that which is the element of the base of the infinity of space (ākāsānañcāyatanadhātu) — this element is discerned in dependence on form. Bhikkhu, that which is the element of the base of the infinity of consciousness (viññāṇañcāyatanadhātu) — this element is discerned in dependence on the base of the infinity of space. Bhikkhu, that which is the element of the base of nothingness (ākiñcaññāyatanadhātu) — this element is discerned in dependence on the base of the infinity of consciousness. Bhikkhu, that which is the element of the base of neither-perception-nor-non-perception (nevasaññānāsaññāyatanadhātu) — this element is discerned in dependence on the base of nothingness. Bhikkhu, that which is the element of the cessation of perception and feeling (saññāvedayitanirodhadhātu) — this element is discerned in dependence on cessation."
