[394] Those who abstain from the destruction of life (pāṇātipāta) come together and converge with those who abstain from the destruction of life; those who abstain from taking what is not given (adinnādāna) come together and converge with those who abstain from taking what is not given; those who abstain from sexual misconduct (kāmesumicchācāra) come together and converge with those who abstain from sexual misconduct; those who abstain from false speech (musāvāda) come together and converge with those who abstain from false speech; those who abstain from wine, liquor, and intoxicants that are a basis for heedlessness (surāmerayamajjapamādaṭṭhāna) come together and converge with those who abstain from wine, liquor, and intoxicants that are a basis for heedlessness.
