[412] He was dwelling at Sāvatthī ... There the Blessed One ... "Bhikkhus, one who delights in the earth element (pathavīdhātu) delights in suffering (dukkha). One who delights in suffering is not freed from suffering, I say. One who delights in the water element (āpodhātu) ... one who delights in the fire element (tejodhātu) ... one who delights in the wind element (vāyodhātu) delights in suffering. One who delights in suffering is not freed from suffering, I say."
