[501] "Bhikkhus, for as long as I wish, with the complete transcending of perceptions of form (rūpasaññā), with the passing away of perceptions of sensory impingement (paṭighasaññā), with non-attention to perceptions of diversity (nānattasaññā), [perceiving] 'space is infinite,' I enter and dwell in the base of the infinity of space (ākāsānañcāyatana). Kassapa too, bhikkhus, for as long as he wishes, with the complete transcending of perceptions of form … enters and dwells in the base of the infinity of space."
