[717] Then the Blessed One addressed a certain bhikkhu: "Come, bhikkhu, address the bhikkhu Thera in my name, saying: 'The Teacher calls you, friend Thera.'"
"Yes, venerable sir," that bhikkhu replied to the Blessed One. He approached the Venerable Thera, and having approached, he said to the Venerable Thera: "The Teacher calls you, friend Thera."
"Yes, friend," the Venerable Thera replied to that bhikkhu. He approached the Blessed One, and having approached, he paid homage to the Blessed One and sat down to one side.
