[74] The Venerable Ānanda heard this conversation between the Venerable Sāriputta and those wanderers of other sects. Then the Venerable Ānanda, having walked for alms in Rājagaha, after the meal, having returned from his almsround, approached the Blessed One; having approached, he paid homage to the Blessed One and sat down to one side. Sitting to one side, the Venerable Ānanda reported to the Blessed One the entire conversation that the Venerable Sāriputta had had with those wanderers of other sects.
