[14] And how, householder, is one a roamer among abodes (niketasārī)? Through diffusion and bondage to the abode consisting of the sign (nimitta) of form (rūpa), householder, one is called "a roamer among abodes." Through diffusion and bondage to the abode consisting of the sign of sounds … the sign of odors … the sign of tastes … the sign of tangibles … the sign of dhammas, householder, one is called "a roamer among abodes." Thus, householder, one is a roamer among abodes.
