[150] At Sāvatthī. There the Blessed One said: … "Bhikkhus, the uninstructed worldling does not understand as it really is (yathābhūta) the origin (samudaya) and the passing away, the gratification, the danger, and the escape in the case of form (rūpa). … in the case of feeling (vedanā) … in the case of perception (saññā) … in the case of volitional formations (saṅkhārā) … he does not understand as it really is the origin and the passing away, the gratification, the danger, and the escape in the case of consciousness (viññāṇa).
"But, bhikkhus, the instructed noble disciple understands as it really is the origin and the passing away, the gratification, the danger, and the escape in the case of form. … in the case of feeling … in the case of perception … in the case of volitional formations … he understands as it really is the origin and the passing away, the gratification, the danger, and the escape in the case of consciousness."
