[274] At Sāvatthī. … There … he said: "Bhikkhus, there are these four portions (antā). What four? The portion that is identity (sakkāya), the portion that is the origin (samudaya) of identity, the portion that is the cessation (nirodha) of identity, and the portion that is the practice leading to the cessation of identity."
