And what, bhikkhus, are the things subject to fetters, and what is the fetter? Form (rūpa), bhikkhus, is a thing subject to fetters; the desire and lust (chandarāga) for it there — that is the fetter therein. Feeling (vedanā) … Perception. Volitional formations. Consciousness is a thing subject to fetters; the desire and lust for it there — that is the fetter therein. These, bhikkhus, are called the things subject to fetters, and this the fetter."
